About me

My name is Mary Vallieu and I’ve been married to my husband Brian for 30 years. We have two daughters, one in high school and one in college. After moving around the country from Michigan to Georgia (and back), then to Illinois, and Louisiana, we finally settled in North Carolina for the last eight years with our kids and our dog. I love traveling, reading, hiking, cooking, trying new restaurants and spending time with our friends and family.

I grew up on a farm in southern Michigan and remember our parents teaching us about saving for a rainy day, growing our own food, investing for the future and traveling. I became a CPA in 1997 (thanks to a great high school teacher who inspired me) and have always had a passion for money topics, personal finance and enjoy helping others with their finances. I have integrity and have always practiced confidentiality with financial details and will not judge or shame you in your financial journey. I want to help you understand your financial situation better and cheer you on in your successes!

I’m a graduate of Financial Coach Academy and am an AFC® (Accredited Financial Counselor) and have recently joined the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce!
